New Town Apartment No.16, Kaunas

The installation of Dew Drops and Buoy luminaires highlighted the earth-toned interior with a raw concrete ceiling.

Architects Enrika Riaukaite and Vida Savinske added many elegant design pieces to the generous two-storey apartment in Kaunas, Lithuania. One of them was the Dew Drops lighting from the Czech production Bomma by designer Boris Klimek. The crystal objects are inspired by the beauty of nature and resemble dew drops on a blade of grass. The smoke-coloured Buoy light fixture further reinforces the sophisticated colour scheme of the entire apartment. The lighting in the interior no longer fulfils only its basic function, but is a deliberate art installation.
