Title VII. The house is a playful combination of the descriptive number and the astrological houses often used in the past for making horoscopes. The six-storey Renaissance burgher house from the 16th century, built on the site of a famous brewery, acquired an early classical façade when it was rebuilt in the early 19th century according to the plans of the prominent Prague architect and court builder Josef Zobel
The architects of the leading studios FormaFatal and Atelier SAD have signed the current reconstruction and have approached the house as a work of art. The complete reconstruction highlights the uniqueness of the building, honors its long and rich history, returns traditional natural materials to the house in the form of custom oak floors or new wooden windows, while sensitively introducing contemporary Czech design into the interior
